Chace Crawford teams up with Leona Lewis

Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford will star in popstar Leona Lewis's video for her next single, "I Will Be," filmed in New York City.

"He has speaking lines in the video as well as just appearing in it," a source tells People, adding enthusiastically, "It will be the most anticipated video in January."

So how did this unlikely pair meet?

"Chace went to London a couple months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona," the source reveals.

The two "hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends," the source adds.

The result? "A couple weeks ago Leona called Chace and asked if he would be in her next video.

He obviously said yes." If these two pair up in real life they will make seriously hot couple!

Reflection...

Three months ago I was completely oblivious about the blogging phenomenon and the enormous blogosphere out there, but how things have drastically changed! From bring Chief Editor of a fantastic blogzine (x Celeb Scoop x) and running my blog, I now have a great appreciation for all bloggers as it is hard work and very time consuming!

For an upcoming entertainment journalist like myself I have found this module brilliant, as we have had the freedom to write about anything we like, which is great as I would find it extremely hard to write about politics or the environment! It is also a fantastic way to showcase my writing abilities. My blog is basically a round up of all the best celebrity news and fashion, something which I have a great interest in and hopefully can pursue a career in, in the future!

However, using the blogging platform was not all fun and games, I did have a few problems with the sizing of the photos,-either they were too big or too small and the links,-some did not work correctly.

Though other than that I found blogging relatively easy and comfortable to do. From personalizing my blog page- which was fun, and exploring different ways to 'pimp' up my page Web 2.0 style, by adding polls, RSS feeds and linking to other blog sites. I also updated my blog regularly to keep readers coming back to visit!

Nonetheless I have extremely enjoyed my brief blogging experience, that includes group blogging and posting for my own blog. This module has definitely given me the motivation to continue blogging!

For all the readers, thank you for taking the time to read my blog as I have tried to make it as fun and entertaining as possible, though giving you news quality writing as well!

Kate Moss' Topshop expansion

Kate Moss's Topshop contract has been extended for a further three years, People reports.

The collection has been incredibly successful since it's launch in May last year and as a result became available in 22 countries worldwide.

Kate said: "The last two years have been an exciting experience, and Topshop has given me the perfect platform to develop my own collection, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time."

This is good news for all the fashionistas who can't get enough of her sophisticated fashion styles with high street prices!

"I am really looking forward to working with the Topshop team on our new collections and thank everybody who already owns a piece of Kate Moss for Topshop!"

The range is set to expand into accessories and lingerie as well.

Topshop boss Sir Phillip Green said: "I believe this has been a great partnership for both Topshop and Kate. Having had two years' experience, I am confident that Kate's collection now has the potential to become a significant global brand within Topshop."

This is great news for Croydon born Kate, whose career was in collapse after a cocaine scandal in 2005.

Fashion Rocks 08!

An all-glittering date for the diary in December was Fashion Rocks, the annual music meets fashion extravaganza. The event - which is now into its fifth year - moved from London to Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

One of the biggest peformances was the almighty divas of music, which included the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Fergie, the Pussycat Dolls and our very own Leona Lewis (good on you girl!), lending their support to the super-stylish and tuneful event in aid of Stand Up To Cancer!

Mary-Kate Olsen is entirely puzzled as to why she's considered a fashion icon (and that makes two of us)!

Women all over the world have been mysteriously drawn to her "homeless chic" style of giant, layered dresses and sweaters, but apparently, MK's trendsetting status came about completely by accident.

"For me it was laziness. I wore my pyjamas and threw on whatever was warm enough. It still amazes me. It's just layers and it doesn't make any sense to me at all."

I think she might be embellishing just a bit -- her style comes off as a bit ludicrous, true, but she doesn't normally look quite like she's wearing pjs either!

Lindsay Lohan's legging success!

Though she’s not exactly known as the most skilled actress in Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan might actually work out to be a fine businesswoman. And perhaps a good designer, depending on how hands-on she is with her new leggings line.

Lohan’s costly collection is selling incredibly well, surprising both fashionistas who say that leggings are over and regular folk who say they’re overpriced.

"Blowing off the shelves," is exactly what the publicist for Hollywood boutique Intuition is claiming.

People are coming in droves to get their hands on the severely overpriced leggings Lindsay Lohan created. Though, the 6126 collection is an absolute success with prices- £26 to £70. The leggings, which range in 35 different colours and patterns, are also said to have scored record sales in the U.S.

The Hollywood actress named fashion accessories line 6126, after Marilyn Monroe's birthdate. And the range has already sold out - with customers being placed on a waiting list until stores can order new stock.

Los Angeles boutique owner Jaye Hersh tells E! Online, "We were so overwhelmed by the reaction. We have launched other celebrity collections here, and this one is just flying through the door!”

Though, it’s always hard to know just how much a role celebrities have in designing their products. I really doubt Lohan is at home sketching crocodile patch leggings all night long. But I’m guessing she does more than just throw some ideas out there and walk away.

6126 is obviously at the top of the line in terms of creativity and quality, and if Lohan has anything to do with that then good for her and it keeps her out of trouble too!

Hayden Panettiere hasn’t been in the spotlight for long, but while she has, she has done so with class. Although she is only 18, Hayden knows how to dress and she does it tastefully!

Being dubbed the next Lindsay Lohan might have been a good thing for a young actress once upon a time. Now it's far from and that’s just what 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere seems to be doing!

Seen here at 20th Annual Kids Choice Awards, the ‘Heroes’ star went for the gold, matching metallic accessories to her sparkly dress.

I must say she looks absolutely amazing in that dress. You can easily pull off this look as metallic dresses are very hot right now as are gold shoes.

2009's Celebrity trend: The Jumpsuit!

One of the hottest trends on the 2009 catwalk was the Jumpsuit and all our favourite celebrities seem to be loving this new trend so it's official....

Your wardrobe simply won't be complete without a JUMPSUIT or all-in-one for next season's Spring/ Summer Collection, as the London catwalks confirmed!

Gwyneth Paltrow rocks the trend

Almost every London designer championed them, from thigh slashed, fluid and sexy at Marios Schwab to the eighties versions at Topshop Unique, in pale-wash denim or covered in neon hearts - accessorised with the season’s other must-have, the Bananarama inspired headscarf.

I once thought that it took a strongly fashion-forward woman to wear a jumpsuit, but upon further consideration, I think it just takes a smart one!

Yes, some all-in-ones make a big statement, but there are so many subtle styles available that it’s possible to find a suit for any situation.

They would look just as fab and sexy as a dress or skinny jeans with heels would. Black jumpsuits give the body a contoured silhouette while making you look tall and slim.

The simplicity of black jumpsuits gives you more options to go all out with accessories. Add long necklaces and wide or skinny belts to your jumpsuit ensemble and pair it with an eye-catching clutch and you’ll be ready to go anywhere.

Fashion Fever!

For all fashion lovers out there, in the next couple of posts I will be writing about my love for all things...FASHION!

So instead of writing about the hardcore issues in fashion like fur and stick thin models, that have already been well documented on the news and to be honest, I'm pretty bored about reading the same old thing again and again...Can't they think of anything else to write! Yes we all know models are incredibly skinny and real fur should not be used, but it is not like the fashion industry will immediately change it's policies!

So to give everyone a break from all this serious stuff, I will be writing about the lighter issues in fashion, from the latest celebrity fashion news, catwalk trends, star styles, ultimate christmas party wear and so much more..

I don't want you to get bored from reading my blog, I want you to be entertained yet informed, which is exactly what you are going to get in the next couple of posts!

Final thoughts on...x Celeb Scoop x

It's the end of an era... Well no not really ..just a week! But what a week it has been!..x Celeb Scoop x went live and here are my final thoughts on it...

Being Chief Editor of Celeb Scoop was a major responsibility, I had to edit all the other articles to make sure they were in the style of a celebrity gossip blog, plan the layout of the site, add Web 2.0 features to the side bar like polls, photos, links to other blogs, it was a lot of work!

But it has turned out great! I absolutely love it, definitely how I wanted it to be like! Witty, catty and with lots of photos to keep all our readers entertained!! Celeb Scoop is based on celebrity gossip, fashion movies and music. It is aimed at young, modern people between 15-25, majority are women that are interested in celebrity entertainment.

I know there are thousands of celebrity blogs e.g. Perez Hilton and Gossip Girls, but Celeb Scoop is unique because all our bloggers are specialist experts in niche areas, e.g. celebrity fashion, music and news, so we have the best people to write about topics that no other blog has! Also our bloggers were set roles so that the production flow ran smoothly.

In addition, we realised that many other celebrity blogs had a majority of negative comments and our blog was different in that it included both positive and negative comments to keep a balanced point of view and also to give readers 2 sides to the story!


We posted everyday and sometimes it even became a competition about who could post the most stories! I did!haha.Everyone did post regularly and seemed to stick to the style guide throughout the week.

We all enjoyed reading each others post, checking them all the time to make sure they looked good and having writing that was straight to the point! We also added lots of photos to attract viewers to read the stories. I really enjoyed being apart of our mini blogzine!

I did have a few problems with the size of the text and pictures. When editing they were fine, but when posted, they turned out completely different! Thus sometimes the posts did not look exactly as how I would have liked them to, or this is just maybe because of my OPD- Obesessive Perfectionist Disorder! I just have to have everything looking perfect! Also the links didn't seem to work properly in the beginning, moving to the wrong page, but that was soon sorted out by editing the hyperlink.

Creating this blog has also given me a great insight on how blogs operate, and what it would be like to work for a commercial blog-everyday we had a deadline and that you need to post regularly to keep up with the latest news and for readers to keep coming back!

It has also made me made realise that group blogging is a great way to get lots of posts up! Our group had 43 posts by the end of the week, most out of any other group!

I think that if I were to take this blog live into the blogosphere, we would have had to slightly redefine and focus our angle more, of how our blog is different from others, then it could have definitely worked as a successful blog!

So maybe I can be the new female Perez Hilton! hmm..

Avril Lavigne axes manager!

Avril Lavigne has fired her manager and management company.

The 'Girlfriend' singer is said to be distraught that her latest album and tour proved less popular than her previous efforts, and blames Nettwerk mogul Terry McBride for her lack of success.

A source told gossip blogger Perez Hilton: "Avril is hoping that new management can help her new album be more successful than the last."

Come on Avril, why blame others when YOU are maybe the one to blame for the poor record sales!

Angie's suprise gift to Brad!

Angelina Jolie is splurging out on a £7,500 motorbike for partner Brad Pitt’s 45th birthday. (He sure doesn’t look 45!)

The 'Wanted' actress has bought Brad a top of the range Ducati Monster 1100S.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Since Angelina is always in a dilemma of what to buy Brad, she's getting him the new Ducati Monster 1100S titanium."It's a surprise.

She ordered it from Italy months ago. It's new and I believe it's not out yet in Ducati stores. I guess a guy can never have too many bikes!"

Last year, Angelina is believed to have treated Brad to a motorcycle costing a staggering £70,500 for his birthday!

Meanwhile, Angelina, 33, has revealed she and Brad are planning to settle down in New Orleans because their children - Maddox, seven, Pax, five, Zahara, three, Shiloh, two and four-month-old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon - are so happy living there.

Well you’ve got the money Angie, so why not spend it!

Blogging so far..

I have definitely loved learning about blogging, it has given me an incite to a WHOLE NEW interactive world, one that I was oblivious to! Before this, I only had Facebook and now I am running my own blog and I am the Editor of Celeb Scoop!

As I am incredibly interested in the entertainment business, most of my stories will be based on the happenings of celebrities, fashion and music, something that I can comment non-stop on, for days upon days!

Blogging has given me a platform to publish my work showing my writing abilities, and hopefully may even lead me to a job in the future!

It has become like an addiction, once you write one story, you just do not want to stop and carry on writing more! Kind of like Pringles (crisps)..once you eat one.. you just can't stop and end up eating the whole tub!

Sweet, doe-eyed Carly Zucker has been moaning about her millions and how it takes a whole day to clean her house because it sooo huge.

I'm dissapointed, as i've always thought of her as the acceptable face of WAGs clique-she's a naturally pretty girl and has a career of her own as a personal trainer. But her words are hard to swallow when everyone else is facing job losses and huge increases in fuel bills!

Still, she says she's really strict on recycling. That's all right then...

Nicole thrilled about 'Paris and Benji' Breakup!

This isn't going to sit well with Paris Hilton. According to Star magazine, her former BFF Nicole Richie told Benji Madden that he can do much better than the heiress.

Nicole is reportedly "thrilled that she's gone," says a source.

"She never thought Paris was ever really into" Benji.

We were a little skeptical at first too, but they wouldn't have lasted so long if they weren't into each other. He did a pretty good job of taming her partying ways, but maybe some people aren't meant to be tamed.
